When will the re-issue with extra tracks be made available?

Probably around Xmas, after he's given a wordy interview to Billboard complaining that "nobody bought the album". Excepting us, of course.Who Shot Sam? wrote:When will the re-issue with extra tracks be made available?

Re: 'Lost Highway will release Momofuku from Elvis Costello'
Out of all of the speculation over the title of EC’s new CD I like this idea the best:
“If I didn’t know any better, I’d think that Costello most likely picked the name mostly as a quirky, offbeat title for an album that may or may not vaguely involve artificiality or modern day convenience in some way.”
http://www.bestweekever.tv/2008/03/21/e ... n-noodles/
It’s driving me crazy knowing so little about this album. Where did he record? With whom did he record? Who produced it? He must have done a lot of recording in the privacy of his home. I mean no leaked songs or anything. This is pretty cool.

It's just all part of his cunning plan. He'll sell about 12 copies of the album, come here and find 12 of us discussing it, and then he'll recruit us to be his 12 disciples.wardo68 wrote:Probably around Xmas, after he's given a wordy interview to Billboard complaining that "nobody bought the album". Alternately, it could just be that he's trying out a new business model. We don't know how much the new album will cost. It may be that EC is thinking along these lines:
Instead of selling 250,000 albums at $12 each, why not sell 12 albums at $250,000 each? That'll be a really exclusive release.

Two LPs for 12 songs? They better be five minutes apiece. Now I just need to find a place that sells new vinyl.

I pre-ordered from elusivedisc.com. Is that a fairly reputable site? I might go into AKA Records in Philly and just get it there; chances are they get new vinyl anyway.
Wow... I must say that I'm feeling pretty excited about all this! Though I'm surprised there's no 'Down Among The Wine & Spirits' there.

Track 4 must be a reference to the late great Harry Worth

I've ordered vinyl from them before. Never had any problems.Lester Burnham wrote:I pre-ordered from elusivedisc.com. Is that a fairly reputable site?
It's also possible that the songs are spread over two 45 RPM LPs.

Can someone tell me what the songs sound like? I see that he has played a few of them live recently. Whenever I try to create a dime a dozen accounts to listen to them it says it’s full. What albums do you guys think the songs would fit best on? Are they slow of fast?

Re: 'Lost Highway will release Momofuku from Elvis Costello'
Do we take it it has a simultaneous UK/Europe release, or is Elvis only releasing this in the US?!?
Check out the Coward Brothers ruse here:

I noticed the vinyl release of Elbow's newie is also 12 tracks and also a double. Better quality to the grooves, etc.

i would recommend buying from music direct if you are worried about reliability. i am a record collector and have had nothing but good luck with these guys.
http://www.musicdirect.com/product/82340
$16.99...not too shabby of a price either.

Let's hope 'Harry Worth' is issued as a single and that EC makes a promo video of himself doing Harry's legendary shop window levitation trick. Now that I would pay cash money to see.

Re: 'Lost Highway will release Momofuku from Elvis Costello'
I was wondering if Momofuku was a joke. Who is Momo and why is Elvis saying...
But then there's a tracklisting...
Also I wonder if My Three Sons is autobigraphical.
