and a good This Year's Girl. Is that Noise on vocals? They do sound pretty good. Passable Elvis voice, Pete-esque drums, tight sound. It must be great fun to play in an Elvis cover band. I wanna find one and be Pete (without Lipstick Vogue in the setlist, though, I know I'd fuck it up).

Thanks for posting these migdd. This was recorded in Dallas at Oliver's Armys last show of 2007. My son Derek and I were there, he was almost 15.
During No Action at 38 secs, look for a figure crossing in front of the stage, and then back again at 1.08min. That would be Derek, who is shown here at age 13 with EC in Austin, Tx.

Derek's first brush with Greatness!
As I have said many times on this forum, I have felt so lucky to be able to get live Costello music right here in town. They are great guys, and the sound is so tight, it is incredible. I wish Noiseradio would come back here, he is missed.

legman, is Noise the guitar player/vocalist?
OA are a pretty tight group. I'd love to catch one of their gigs someday.
I think I see Derek on the video clip! Wouldn't it be incredible if some of the stuff on Youtube was available in a better format?

Yes, Noise is frontman, guitar and lead vocals. Unfortunate to get all background chatter and noise on these recordings. I believe there are clean studio cuts on their webpage and MySpace page.
If anyone is ever visiting Dallas/Ft. Worth area, let's check and see if OA is playing, we'll go. I rarely miss them.
