I used Switch and got 800MB for the first CD. I don't like MP3 and want to burn them to CD old style.

800MB for each disc sounds about right for the WAV files.

Many thanks to Otis and ANCT for the resources. It's going to be a merry Xmas after all.

I have intermediate computer skills at best and was easily able to download the Switch software, upload the flac files, convert them to mp3 and burn the CDs!

Thanks, guys, for sharing this stuff!

Problem? See debate elsewhere (iPod nation) re MP3 vs. WAV/AIFF. I've given up burning bootlegs to CD as MP3. There's only so much space in the house. I'm more than happy to get 8 times the amount on one CD as MP3 at 192 bps, especially as I can play them on my beat box in the kitchen, where I do lots of my listening. I copy studio CDs as WAV though!

I can mail the artwork jpegs to anyone who wants them. Just PM me. Easily mailed, and worth having. I'll be a bit busy until I escape work, i.e. end Tuesday.

I'm a bit ancient in my technological preferences. My 11-year-old daughter has an mp3 player and is getting a Zune for Christmas; however, her dad (me, that is) prefers vinyl but settles for CDs since he can't play vinyl in the car. 95% of my music listening time is spent during my 45-minute commute back and forth from work.

I know. . .I'm weird.

Thanks!

Good collection - good idea. I have a few of these tracks already, in fact I'm the source of one the tracks, but still there's plenty of goodies I didn't have up until now. :D
