Does the new reissue contain everything on the previous two-CD (Rhino) version?
Is the sound significantly better?
Are the other albums going to get the expanded 'expanded' multi-disc treatment, or are they reverting to one-disc versions (and thus leaving the Rhino 2CD sets as the most desirable)?
Why all the versions of these albums?
Sorry if these are stupid questions...

No, it omits "Imagination (Is A Powerful Deceiver)" and the six Honky Tonk demos. But it also includes a lot of stuff that's not on the Rhino version.American Without Tears wrote:Does the new reissue contain everything on the previous two-CD (Rhino) version?
No, it is exactly the same as the Rhino version. It was not newly remastered. Is the sound significantly better?
This Year's Model is planned for next year. It is unknown if there will be more after that. Are the other albums going to get the expanded 'expanded' multi-disc treatment, or are they reverting to one-disc versions (and thus leaving the Rhino 2CD sets as the most desirable)?
Elvis owns his 1977-1987 catalog, and he keeps licensing the albums to new companies. Why all the versions of these albums?
