When will EC's next album be released?

In light of EC's various comments about giving up recording, it's time to predict the future.

For the sake of this discussion, it doesn't make a difference whether it's a physical CD or a download, just as long as we're talking about an official set including 10 or more self-penned, previously unrecorded songs.

Elvis can't keep quiet for long... I suspect we'll get something in 2008. No idea what it'll be though.

My crystal ball is telling me it will take all of 2008 just to get the forces in alignment to record a new album but that it won't be released until 2009.

I'm gonna say 2009. I hope it's '08, but I have a feeling about '09. Oh-eight would be nice though, that'd add to its status as potential best year ever.

As soon as he starts saying he'll never make another album it's a sure sign that he's planning another album.

He is still writing - we've heard new songs from him this year.

He needs a breakthrough, fanbase wise. Someone needs to use ten of his songs as an integral part of a mega-popular movie sometime soon, to raise his profile. This is my dream!

I would dismiss his comments in the press and instead view the buzz of activity that has taken place in 2007. I reckon he will be invigorated especially by his support set for Sylan which appears to have garnered widespread praise.
I reckon he will be inspired and something will be with us before April 2008........
...I want him to hurt...
