Hear The Costello Show This Sunday Night
Back in 1977. three bucks got you a double bill at the Riviera theater in (pre-semigentrification) Uptown. This XRT show featured opening act Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers (who played bootleg Rolling Stones music over the P.A. before they came out if memory serves) and starred Elvis Costello and the Attractions. They played a frantic 40 minute set without stopping. (Current bands take note.) Enjoy it again on this week’s Sunday Night Concert.
