This is for all non-EC or peripheral-EC topics. We all know how much we love talking about 'The Man' but sometimes we have other interests.

That's doomed now.....

Going to any games, IP?

Am doing my usual workplace predictions tournament, but not FF. Life's too short, etc.

Nope, I wasn't lucky enough to get the tickets.
I'm thinking of going to Poznan just to feel the atmosphere. There are reportedly around 20 thousand Irish and 7 thousand Croatians in the city.

(Don't know if you've had the pleasure of seeing the great Irish sitcom Father Ted, but in case not, the placards are a reference to a great scene from it involving protests on remote Craggy island over a new cinema showing very slightly racy films.)

nice pic.

I've got a stranglehold on last place, so don't try to take it from me. My fave game so far has been the Portugal/Denmark battle I DVR'd yesterday. So much DRAMA. So many pouty faces. I don't really have a loyalty to get in the way of enjoying the games, so I'm back and forth the whole time on who I'm rooting for. Denmark gets high marks on hair, Portugal on uniforms.

Painful to be surrounded by a legion of orange fanatics in an Amsterdam bar last night as their boys showed they simply haven't got it in them this tournament. Even when RVP actually did something right for a change, Holland never looked like they'd get back in there. Shame.

Poor old Irleand!
