Good song, yeah. But those guys sound tired. I'd call that series of stills worthy of being called a video - liked looking at the faces.

They sound tired? As in exhausted or as in old hat? They sound like they are having a really fabulous time to me and I love the energy.

This is a Manic Hispanic cover of a Rancid song - I just KNEW Otis would enjoy.

Rudy will have a new theme song.

This is Rancid, and this is funny.

appropriate for the EC board because of the glasses, of course.

New Order minus Peter Hook are releasing an album soon under the moniker Bad Lieutenant.
Here's a song which may appear on the album :

And from the same session, an acoustic version of the fabulous Bizarre Love Triangle.
Someone's quite rightly noticed how similar the opening sounds to Coldplay's Viva La Vida

Re: More TUBE goodies
So New Order should sue Joe Satriani for ripping them off?

Lovely version of BLT, always one of my favourite NO songs, and therefore one of my favourite songs. Shame about the whole Hooky fallout thing.

Not from YouTube, but a 'goodie' nevertheless.
Jarvis Cocker and Richard Hawley duet on "Born To Cry".

That's pretty cool. Have you heard JC's latest album, IP? I listened to a few songs stream, 'Angela' was one, and they didn't really excite me especially that one.

Re: More TUBE goodies
Yes, I've heard the new album. My initial feelings were very negative - too much hard rocking, drum-pounding and shouting; too little Jarvis-like melodicism.
I may like it a bit better after a few listens, but still I can't stop myself from skipping almost half of the songs.

Re: More TUBE goodies
That should be interesting. Hope it's good. I'm a huge fan of Steve McQueen.

I also like the first one, Swoon, but have never actually heard Andromeda Heights. One of their very best songs is 'Cruel', covered back in the day by Elvis. Here's a nice live version:

I saw them at the Birmingham Odeon when touring Swoon. I think 'When Love Breaks Down' was out, but still not a hit. They had a few goes at making that happen. I think they'd booked the Odeon based on the idea that they would be in the charts by then and everyone would come and see them. It was a huge error as it was about one tenth full. I've never felt so embarrassed for a band. Good show, all the same.

I know rap is not the most popular genre here, but this video is hilarious.
