What are your favorite album titles?

This is for all non-EC or peripheral-EC topics. We all know how much we love talking about 'The Man' but sometimes we have other interests.

The Who Sell Out was pretty clever. Wouldn't have thought the term "selling out" dated back that far!

Part of why I like Guided By Voices are their strange word lays, like I Am The Walrus mix & match stuff. Bee Thousand, Mag Earwhig, Half Smiles Of The Decomposed...

Olivia Tremor Control's Dust At Cubist Castle, I like the imagery that conjures up.

Jayhawks - Tomorrow The Green Grass. I think it fits the band well, this looking ahead but I get a "Dandelion Wine" type of nostalgia feel with the green grass, like looking ahead to simpler times.

I'm not a fan of the genre, so I've never heard the album, but I've always liked "I Heard They Suck Live" by NOFX.

Here's the cover:

That's the thing about being a Mod...there's always a more authentic Mod, somewhere.

Strangely enough, I have no favorite album titles.

My fave might be Ornette Coleman's "The Shape Of Jazz To Come". Really pretentious ones that aren't lying are always great. Like naming your first record "The Fabulous Johnny Cash" or the aforementioned "Jesus Of Cool".

"Give Me Convenience Or Give Me Death" is yet another good one from the Dead Kennedys (albeit a comp). I also like the name of a Roscoe Holcomb compilation called "An Untamed Sense Of Control" which is what Dylan said Holcomb performed with.

Not that exciting, but Leonard Cohen's "Songs From A Room" gains a lot of intimacy from its title.
What this world needs is more silly men.

Actually, I was always slight more partial to the American title for "Jesus of Cool" (which had to be changed, because, you know, the only Jesus in America is Jesus, except for Latino Jesuses...wonder if Nick could have gotten away with "Jesus of Cool" if they insisted that everyone pronounce it "Hay-seuss of Cool"). "Pure Pop for Now People" is one of my all time favorite album titles.
