I apologize if this is repeated information, but I didn't see it made clear in any subject lines, so here it goes!

Dave really likes the Man. Not that many musical guests get interviewed as well these days, although he often wanders over to exchange a word or two just after they perform.

Does anyone have a transcript of his chit-chat with Dave? I fell asleep :( and missed the whole thing.

I'm at work, so can't transcribe, but elvis said some pretty funny things.

Dave: How did it start?
EC: Love? Isn't this a family show David?

Elvis also said something about a love fest that was funny....
Loving this board since before When I Was Cruel.

I actually started transcribing it, but then realized how difficult it is was to do. People talk fast! I kept having to rewind and fix.

So I give up (for now)

Basically, he talked about performing with just piano and voice, hosting Letterman's show back in the spring, Johnny Cash, his upcoming marriage (briefly), and his tour.

Actually the most damn interesting thing about the Letterman show was that over here, right after they talked THERE WAS AN ELVIS COSTELLO NORTH COMMERCIAL.....once I regained conciousness from passing out from the shock, it dawned on me that Elvis has a record company that is PROMOTING this record.....watch for flying pigs, icebergs in hell....maybe Island could learn something by this?
