I'm starting to see bits of info that suggest the base price for these shows will be $130-200- does that seem accurate? Any thoughts as to whether weekend nights will be more expensive? Both learned opinion and wild speculation welcome!

It doesn't say who the pre-sale is aimed at.

Is it anyone or do you need a pass code or hold a certain card?

I am not greatly astute at these pre-sale regs myself...but I think they are stating CITICARD holders for today. CITIBANK is a local NYC banking conglomerate which apparently issues their own VISA/MASTERCARD and seemingly has enough clout to merit pre-sale status oft times.

Thanks for that. I've got the individual dates page up and they are all counting down to a presale time but don't say who for.

Is there a fan presale at any point?

My plan is to fly over for 4 dates over 5 nights, 16th, 17th, 19th and 20th. I think getting the nights i want without a presale might be difficult

Edit, I just noticed various presale dates at the bottom of the page, although it doesn't mention fan presale. I guess the Live Nation presale might be an option?

Always scroll to the bottom!

ELVIS COSTELLO SETS “100 SONGS AND MORE” TEN NIGHT RUN AT GRAMERCY THEATRE IN NYC, FEB 9 TO 22 PRESENTED BY CITI®. “EACH NIGHT WILL TELL A DIFFERENT TALE.”
20 September 2022

Elvis Costello has announced “100 Songs and More,” a ten-night run at the Gramercy Theatre in New York City between Feb 9 and Feb 22, 2023
Presented By Citi®.

Costello will perform a completely different set each night, the first five nights solo and the following nights with his longtime pianist Steve Nieve, ultimately playing more than 200 different songs picked from his vast 600+ song catalog and other favorites.

Citi is the official card of the Elvis Costello residency. Citi cardmembers will have access to presale tickets beginning Tuesday, September 20th at 10AM local time until Thursday, September 22 at 10PM local time through the Citi Entertainment program. For complete presale details visit http://www.citientertainment.com.

Tickets will go on sale on September 23. More details below.

Costello writes:

For ten nights at the Gramercy Theatre
I’ll name ten songs to set the scene
I’ll play those ten and then ten more
Shake off the old routine

Each night will tell a different tale
So come to one or come to all
“100 Songs” is what I promise
But twice that number is quite a haul

I will start this stand alone, that’s fine
Nights One to Five, the Feast Day of St. Valentine
Steve Nieve will join me for Nights Six, Seven, Eight & Nine
But what else may happen is a secret of mine
Let’s just set up the chair or two and play
In case some friends turn up along the way

Apart from a printed program of ten songs per night, Costello will select a number of other tunes to be played impromptu, completing each performance without repeating any songs from the printed program over the ten-night stand, although it’s safe to assume that a couple of well-known tunes may serve as an encore.

The 10 day pass is $1995 + $27 in fees through the Citi presale, at least at the moment.

A steal of a deal...most especially regarding those service fees. EC must have surely put his foot down regarding this. Other artists came off looking poorly in recent tines in these ticketing situations...BUT NOT OUR GUY!!! A+++ EC

1 down, 9 to go....NOT!!
Got February 20th in my internet hand now thanks to my friend Bob! If I get another two by the weekend...I'll call it a wrap. I must praise Elvis. Imagine a third row loge SEAT including the dreaded TM fees for only $152! That is a steal of a deal in my 2022 mathbook...and only a single one TM fee of $27 for the 10 day pass surely makes our guy look the working class hero full of care for his fans. A+++ KING ELVIS

Seems like anybody can buy seats on the floor - perhaps at a Platinum resale price?

Although the added songs will have to include some repeats, no?

Watch your Step is listed on two nights.
Night 10 is pretty obviously an Imposters setlist.

Not according to Elvis it shouldn’t. Isn’t this 200 different songs? It must be a (brilliant) mistake.

Also the impression I got is that it’s 5 nights solo and 5 nights with Steve. Although of course the latter doesn’t rule out the aimpostets!

OK, so I got tickets on the floor for 16th, 19th and 20th. Bloody expensive but I knew it would be. Now, the thing is tickets for the 17th are even more expensive, $414 compared to around $300 for the other dates. Is it worth waiting until the presale tomorrow to get a Loge seat? Are they cheaper than floor seats?

Every loge seat I saw (despite NOT being logged in for purchase) seems to be $152 complete with fees. Good luck for a better bargain if you do want others in the coming sale dates. Hope to say HELLO. ba

Thanks BA. I might have jumped in too quick buying Platinum seats. Going by the size of the venue I assumed tickets wouldn’t be on sale for long.
From the current plan there are only 8 loge seats left on the date I want and not much more on the floor. I’ve committed to the dates now so do I splash out on floor seats (it would only hurt when I paid) or risk getting a loge seat tomorrow in the presale?
Hopefully catch you at one of the shows too

Yes I understand...thankfully I got a friend wuth the correct credit card for today. So while I can get the $152 loge ticket I kindly asked them to get me the last 2 nights. I'd rather go twice in loge than once in orch. for my money. But I fully understand you pulling the trigger on what was offered. You surely will get your enjoyment $$$ worth. But now try to squeeze another 2 or 3 at the lower price. 8) 8)

What day is it? Today is Tuesday, right? Presale is tomorrow. I’m clearly not on the ball here. Dang. Might have to wait to score tickets in 2023. Not sure if I can commit to a NYC trip in winter.
