I now LOVE this song!
On first listen his voice struck me as ragged. But now that I'm used to the song, I don't even notice it, and think it all sounds great.
It's such a great, old-fashioned melody and the playing from everyone and the production are fantastic. How about that piano sound? How about all those players, in fact?!

Great song, I love it. It would appear that stylistically the album will be all over the place ,which to me is a good thing. Your one stop shop for Elvis.

This is an avenue Elvis hasn't explored too much, the moody/pre war early 50s styles to any length, odd dips into the genre but maybe 8 tracks from the Paris sessions is the longest sustained musical diversion he's attempted - it'll be a late night burner on vinyl with the lights off and a soothing Horlicks or Ovaltime !
