Sire Maintenance

Post by DrSpooky »

Hi,

It's that time again. I am going to do some maintenance on the machine running the site. I hope that all of it will be done this weekend but am not 100% sure of that. There may be periods of time while the site is not up.
I will try to keep them brief.

No conspiracy. No storms. No coffee spills. Just maintenance. :)

I can't believe I typo'ed and turned it into "sire maintenance" and it took you folks 48 hours to pick on me. I am disappointed. :)

No one would dare to diss the Doc. You have powers beyond the reach of us mere mortals.

Yes-sire-ee!
Who’s this kid with his mumbo jumbo?

It IS a bit scary to think just what 'sire maintenance' might entail...

Is there a reason why the site now loads W--- I------ D------ E---- ?

Is every thread running wide, Mug, or do you happen to be in a thread where a large picture has been uploaded? Sometimes that will cause a wide screen.

Hmmm... will check. Perhaps it's Otis's massive puppy pix. Thanks!

PS-- Yup, that was it, thanks!!

It was odd that cos I had two identically originated landscape shots, and one went wide and one didn't.

I thought 'sire maintenance' was going to be more about dogs (but then I have got a one-track mind right now).

I've been puzzeld by wideness too, and not only on wide-image pages, I think.
