My all time favorite recorded cover of EC's might just be What Do I Do Now. Mine too... except for the "might" part. 1. What Do I Do Now? 2. Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood 3. Walking On Thin Ice 4. (What's So Funny 'Bout) Peace, Love And Understanding? 5. He'll Have To Go (live from the Pa...

Very interesting. On the other hand, EC mentions only the Little Willie John and Beatles versions of "Leave My Kitten Alone" in the Kojak Variety liner notes. I would think he would also mention a lesser known cover version if that's where he heard it first.

Or you could just get the MP3:

(The visual portion of the video is pretty much worthless anyway, since the camera was so far from the stage.)

I won't promise this is mistake free because gees, I started losing it towards the end since I was right up next to the stage dancing my ass off. Understood... but I'm guessing they didn't really do "Wonder Woman" as both songs 24 and 29. And isn't "Feels So Good" (song 14) just...

On the recording of the first Beacon show, just before going into "Riverboat," Elvis sings "Then he threw something down into the rushing river and won't ever recover," which is a line from his own "The Name Of This Thing Is Not Love."

Is that what you have in mind?

Elvis never did a song called "Keep It Confidential." My best guess is the song in question is "King of Confidence," the 1985 outtake which appears as a bonus track on the King of America reissues.
