Seen him duet with Emmylou Harris and in an ensemble with Emmylou, Steve Earle, John Prine and Nanci Griffith. Land mine Free World concert 2002.

Looking to complete my collection

Can anyone help to point me to where I might find any of these shows - tried various searches with no luck:

7/12/1977 Philadelphia
6/6/84 Tokyo
6/7/86 Werchter
14/5/96 Los Angeles
9/7/96 Montreux

Thanks in advance!

Individual tracks from Peel sessions turn up now and again in good quality on various BBC programmes - heres a recent one of Mystery Dance (1 hour 15 mins in):

Re: Elvis and The Imposters play Belfast , July 19th 2016

It's 11,000 capacity is for full hall, going by the photos they reconfigured it to around half or a third of that size. Still, I said when it was announced it was a strange venue choice, way too big for an artist with whom Belfast has an uneasy relationship. By which I mean, there were long periods ...

Re: Elvis & The Imposters play Dublin, July 16th 2016

I'm going to see The Undertones tomorrow in Dublin. The support act will be The Trouble Pilgrims , which is made up of surviving members of the Radiators From Space . Steve Averill is one of them. Steve designed sleeves for Elvis's albums in the 1990s. #touchedbythehandofdeclan No support act for t...

Interview to promote this - about 15 minutes into this - http://www.todayfm.com/player/listen_back/9/29039/12th_May_2016_-_The_Paul_McLoone_Show_Part_2 The interviewer, Paul McLoone, is the singer with the Undertones (who I'm going to see tonight in Belfast), who are also playing the Galway festiva...

Re: Elvis and The Imposters play Belfast , July 19th 2016

I will miss this one as I'll be in the US on that date. I've been at every Costello gig in Belfast since 1978, so not happy!

SSE Arena is a strange choice, it's a cavernous ice hockey arena, 6,000+ capacity, really only suitable for big arena shows.

The 'Tones are doing a 40th anniversary tour, I'm going to see them in Belfast in May. Not quite the same without Feargal. BTW, they credit EC for advising them to use Roger Bechirian as a producer, he (EC) met them at a TOTP recording late 78.

Re: UNFAITHFUL MUSIC & DISAPPEARING INK - Oct. 2015

So, one tiny error per 10,000 words, is it? For a homeopathic dilution of one hundred parts per million... ;) I know, its a bit pedantic! But actually, it lessened the impact of what must have seemed a neat line - Queen's Hall and Queen's soldiers. I could forgive dodgy memory on a venue (which is ...

Well John, one mistake right there. The 78 Belfast show was in the Ulster Hall. There is/was no such place as the Queen's Hall.
