One thing I'd like to hear is the demo of "Thats What Friends Are For" and live versions of unreleased songs like "The Last Time You Were Leaving Me" and "Lifeboat."

Someone should implement a feature on this board where a user can enter their favorite song at the moment. It could be like this:

Thanks for uploading some. "So Like Candy" and "The Lovers That Never Were" demos were upgrades from what I had but the others were pretty much the same. I wonder if the sound on the actual CD is that much better since demos aren't usually good quality in the first place.

Hey stormwarning, is there any chance you could upload the acoustic demos you have with EC and Paul to your xdrive? The ones I have are in really bad quality.

I have some EC shows I could possibly upload to the xdrive or something if anyone is interested and if I'm allowed.

Looking for some McCartney/MacManus tracks

Do these exist? If some are, are they available? These are ones I am missing: Back On My Feet (Demo; With or Without Paul) That Day Is Done (Demo; With or Without Paul) Veronica (Demo with Paul) Veronica (Flowers In The Dirt version, I read somewhere this might exist?) Mistress And Maid (Demo with P...

I like the song a lot. I do prefer the live version over the version on the album. I really like every song on Almost Blue, "Honey Hush" is just my least favorite but it doesn't mean I dislike it. To note, I just got this album for the first time Tuesday so my selections might change somet...

They Should've Been Singles

If you were to pick 15 songs from all of EC's albums that should've been released as singles (A-Side) but weren't, what would they be? Don't make this into a compilation of your favorites, pick songs that you feel would make an impact on the charts, ones you believe everyone will enjoy. Just pretend...

Some EC songs I haven't heard

I was looking at the miscellaneous lyrics section at Elviscostello.info and noticed a few songs that I haven't heard yet. I was wondering if anyone can tell me where I can find them. Alibi Factory (I notice the lyrics are the same as Alibi on WIWC but is this a studio demo?) Bright Blue Times (I hav...

If that track list is right, that is going to be one hell of an album! The ones I really have my eye on are "The Delivery Man" "Scarlet Tide" & "Unwanted Number." I would love to hear studio versions of those three songs, especially the latter.

I download torrents from sharingthegroove.org once in a while. Lately they haven't had much Costello stuff so I haven't been downloading too much. It would be great if someone would put up some rare, unreleased, out-of-print Elvis Costello stuff. I'd be forever grateful. There's still lots of stuff ...

The other Elvis

I know everyone here loves (or should love) Elvis Costello but what does everyone think about the other Elvis (Presley)? I really enjoy listening to Elvis Presley. Lots of great songs. He had such a beautiful and unique voice. Although I don't like every single song he recorded like our Elvis, most ...

Dennis Wilson - Pacific Ocean Blue Great choice. This is a very underrated album and I'm glad to see it on someone's list. I'd make my own list but there's just way too many albums I like to fit in a top 20. I'd feel bad leaving other great ones out. Maybe if we did a Top 200 or something, that wou...

Preordering the new reissues

Is anyone preordering the new reissues? If so, from where?

How many of you are planning on getting the new reissues within the first couple weeks (preorder or not)?
