I just ordered from Music Direct, too. It appears that they have it in stock, so yippee! Now I just need to figure out how to cancel my order with Elusive Disc...

Re: 'Lost Highway will release Momofuku from Elvis Costello'

Here's to hoping that the music on the new album has absolutely NOTHING to do with peaches, noodles or luck! 8) Bad news... the tracklisting has been altered: 01. Noodle Hiding Peach 02. American Noodle Time 03. Turpentine Peaches 04. Harry Luck 05. Noodles and Peaches 06. Peaches and Luck 07. Stel...

Yeah I know, I was hoping that the absurdity of Joan Baez performing Pink Floyd's 'Bring The Boys Back Home' would be obviously interpreted as the (bad) joke it was... :P

Re: Joan Baez covers The Scarlet Tide

Has this song been re-titled? http://www.southcoasttoday.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080325/LIFE/803250311/-1/ENTERTAIN Darling as she was, some of her best moments were seriously political; many of her songs were anti-war protests that gave the Z all the ambiance of a '60s peace rally. Re: 'Lost Highway will release Momofuku from Elvis Costello'

I pre-ordered from elusivedisc.com. Is that a fairly reputable site? I've ordered vinyl from them before. Never had any problems. It's also possible that the songs are spread over two 45 RPM LPs. Excellent, thanks. Now I just need to get a record player...! I think I might go with an MP3 reco...

Re: 'Lost Highway will release Momofuku from Elvis Costello'

I pre-ordered from elusivedisc.com. Is that a fairly reputable site? I might go into AKA Records in Philly and just get it there; chances are they get new vinyl anyway. Wow... I must say that I'm feeling pretty excited about all this! Though I'm surprised there's no 'Down Among The Wine & Spirit...

Re: 'Lost Highway will release Momofuku from Elvis Costello'

That's just like Elvis, saying that he'll never record again and then surprise us with a new studio album :) So it seems to be an album of originals. Based entirely on what he's performed live in the past year or so, what can we expect to be on this new album? 'American Gangster Time' and 'Down Amon...

Re: This Year's Model: Deluxe Edition to be released March 4

Hm. Well, this isn't entirely surprising, and the presence of a live show is pretty exciting. In fact, I received "Live at El Mocambo" from Amazon today, and I was thinking to myself, "Man, it would suck if Elvis released This Year's Model as a deluxe edition this year, and the El Moc...

Isn't this the show where Bruce Thomas tried to catch a flying bottle and he ended up with a large white boxing glove on his hand? (As can be seen in the Chelsea and Pump It Up videos.)

Indeed. Let's count the amount of times that Elvis has threatened to quit the music industry, only to come bouncing back with a new album.

Might as well pick which toe I prefer. (I don't have kids yet, and I certainly won't have as many as Elvis released records in the 1980s!) Top 3 are KOA, IB, and GH, but then that leaves out Trust, and BAC. Geez... I'll pick KOA because of the memories it holds, and how I waited until I had collecte...

So one of my favorite EC sites is Bright Blue Times. Earlier today, I went to check out the site, and it said that the page could not be found. Puzzled, I went to http://www.astheygo.com , and was a little concerned with what I saw. Does anyone know what's happened?
