More Python Madness this weekend: Picked up the "And Now For Something Completely Different" video for E2.99, replaced my copy of "Monty Python Sings" which went missing ages ago and this site went live today... http://web.ukonline.co.uk/sotcaa/python.html ...and it's awesome. BT...

Yeah, I'm guilty of a little of a (a) and a little of (c). Sorry for not PMing you. About a month ago I knocked out a version of Black Sails, spent about two evenings tinkering with it, then became very dissatisfied with it and forgot about it. Today, I fired up the portastudio and was suprised at h...

You didn't mention the small EC pic beside the review labelled "Elvis Costello: All This Useless Music", well I laughed...

The new Uncut just has one obit after another in it. What I've listened to of the CD is mighty fine tho.

Yes but it's a marathon, not a race. It's about hit catalogue, not hit singles. The fact that you have to exchange Limp Bizkit for what ever other pop act is significant. EC has hung around, the other big sellers haven't. EC has, generally speaking, been releasing albums that tickle the BB200 at abo...

North Debuts on the Bilboard 200 at...

... drum roll... 57! With 21,000 copies sold... I don't think that's bad for, pardon the phrase, an EC genre record on a classical label. Of note At 1: Outkast with 526,000 copies sold. At 2: Dave Matthews with 429,000 copies sold. At 3 Limp Biskit with 325,000 copies sold. http://www.billboard.com/...

I second that. Some of EC's stuff is overlong. ATUB, 12 tracks, superduper. WIWC, 16 tracks (over here anyway) too long. I never subscribed to the cd thing that just because you had 75 minutes, you should fill them. All records should be 40-45 minutes, or shorter.

Lemon Curry? A Monty Python Thread...

I've had a huge Monty Python revival in the last month. Broke out the old tv shows on video, devoured the new book/autobiography think, watched an old documentary, poked around some MP boards and generally I've resuscitated an obsession that had been dormant for years. I first saw the Flying Ciircus...

I'll be brief because I'm ill. On a Saturday Night. The Matrix Reloaded was utter shite. Saw the trailer for Matrix Revolutions on RI:SE this morning (yeah, I'm the guy watching RI:SE, that Sky News bird on the BBC does my head in) and Revolutions looks worse.

Where did it all go wrong for The Matrix?

Forgot to set the video and on call at work. Couldn't watch it coz the receptionist at work just had to watch Emmerdale.

Just now I couldn't watch QI because everyone had to watch Sex and the City.

Sometime I wish I wasn't so highbrow.
