Strange coincidence Poppet but I'm having a major White Album revival for the last two weeks and I have been forcing it on colleagues off the A&E radio the last few days. In particular, Hey Prudence and Ringo's drumming during the last verse which is sensational: it's a fill which lasts an entir...

A great show. Best new show this year. I can't wait for the inevitable DVD next Christmas. Who here has seen "Look Around You"? Now out on DVD. 8 x 10 minute films done in the style of an 1980 schools programme full of non-sequituers and fake science. Brilliant. DrJ http://www.bbc.co.uk/co...

Yes, I thought I was being dumb. The point of the Green Shirt clip video is that GS was released as a single to promote "The Man" compilation in 1985 and obviously this was the cheapest way to cobble together a video for a six year old song.

In 1989 when I was getting into Costello, "The Man" video was a great primer before buying all the records. On my copy I've taped the videos for "...This Town...", "Other Side of Summer" and "Sulky Girl" at the end, like a good little fan. Am I stating the obv...

And there you have it. This raises a lot more questions: how will he be tried, etc. And on the other hand, four more glorious years of Bush.

Hmmm, don't know about the install problem, but to remove Internet Explorer (or anything) from the dock, just click and hold on the application, just drag it off the dock and let go. It disappears in a little puff of smoke.

Macs rule. I just don't understand PC's. They're so complicated.

Come on people. Sting made some very important commercials in the early nineties. Hahaha. Hate Sting. Don't care if he's written some classics. I hate him and everything he stands for. And you all can imagine the back-patting VH-1 special this tribute will eventually turn out to be. *Vomit.* Now EC...

Well, the whole album came out before 9/11 but it was surprising how it became a musical balm in the aftermath of that day and got a second lease of life. The album also came out before Bono's dad died, although he was dying.

Next U2 album due second quarter of 2004, produced by Chris Thomas.

To be difficult:

1994
Brutal Youth
Parklife
Defininely Maybe
Vauxhall and I
Dog Man Star
Mellow Gold
Monster
Beatles at The BBC

...well, I enjoyed them. There was a stretch from 93-95 when I bought a lot of good new records. Maybe I'm just old now.

But why was the Michael Jackson post pulled? The last I saw of it there was the usual theological back and forth, nothing incredibly defamatory. I don't like this unusual air of censorship. At the risk of looking like a prude, and I might be one, I think posts with sexual pictures and explicit conte...

That is a slightly different setlist to Saturday. We didn't get "Be My Wife" or "Fall dogs Bomb the Moon" and some others. Maybe it's because of the DVD. Still like "Reality". Today I burned a CD of Best of Bowie 93-03. Considering I don't have Heathen, the tracklisting...
