2000+ CDs, I guess. Since I got Broadband I'm "trying out" 2 to 3 albums per day. I also plan on buying a huge extenal hard drive and swapping MP3/AAC libraries with some pals. Gotta love music. On a not wholly unrelated note, I seem to have bought more DVDs than CDs so far this year. DrJ

Black Books is fantastic. Bought the series one DVD last week and the three of them (Moran/Bailey/Greig) do a great commentary throughout. The recent episode with Simon Pegg was very funny.

Why's everyone down on Cobblestone Runway? I loved the production, although I can understand why people skip Dragonfly on Main Street. These Days, Former Glory, Up The Road, Heart's Desire are all perfect.

The worst Ron Album is Whereabouts, it seems to lack purpose.

BTW, can we assume that the people in favour of editing are refusing to get the 2-cd reissues? There's no such thing as too much Elvis!!! Either of them!!! I think the essence of the question is "If Elvis' records were a bit shorter, would more of the general rabble get turned on to his stuff?&...

Re: Does Elvis need to be edited ?

20% Amnesia, Lovable, and Rocking Horse are some of Elvis's best and most popular songs. Most popular? What planet are you from? :D Well, these would be three favourites of mine, so perhaps wehitandrun and me could annex a planet on behalf of these songs. This is part of the fun of being an EC fan:...

I told on one of the old boards of the time in Dublin in 1991 when EC was playing with the Rude 5 and Cait was trying to throw a chair at a guy in the front of the audience and EC was trying to play and stop her. He is still banned from the venue apparently.

You could always "try" them for "free" off the internet. Arrest Me Now!!! There are four Wilco albums: A.M. is least essential, Being There is a double and has tons of personality and great music but is a little unwieldly, Summerteeth is the easy to take album of great songs, it'...

Saw the Fountains of Wayne last night, which was simply great. Best band in the world.

I saw the Bremner, Brid and Fortune thing purely accidentally. For starters I had no idea who he was impersonating, so thanks for clearing that up. They had changed the words completely but same "IDWTGTC" pay off line. What was even odder was that the sketch parodied the "IDWTGTC"...
