I am figuring out if I have the time/talent to put together a website later in the year which would host rare EC videos. I've a lot of stuff on VHS hanging around which should be encoded and put out there. Look at this resource for rare Python... http://orangecow.org/pythonet/video.html ...which is ...

Don't know the new one. The guess is Led Zepplin but it's probably earlier than that...

Is it That'll be the Day and Stardust? And David Essex? Although he wasn't really a 50s/60s star, more 70's/80's.

Those Moments In Time guys strike me as odd. They were once selling the album Lennon signed for Chapman and an erased tape of a Beatles session in LA in 1976 (!). It worries me that BC was born in the 80's. So young, so wise! I've got to come to terms with my age (spiralling to my 30's) which, yes, ...

Paul. His name is James Paul McCartney.

I was recently in Liverpool and bunked off the conference I was at and took a two hour Beatles bus tour and I won the trivia quiz. Go me!

1990's U2 is better than 1980's U2. Zooropa reminds me of a very good summer of music which included Belly and Sugar and others. EC was pretty on the money about Pop; he referred to it as great songs which when put together didn't make a great album,or something like that, I'm paraphrasing wildly. DrJ

I bet whatever Mallett was driving, it was more expensive then anything driven by any of us. If he gets £10,000 for a PA in front of some drunk students who want to relive the Saturday mornings of their youth, then good luck to him, more power to his elbow etc. As a side note I saw Spongebob Squarep...

10 inches. PS Dr J, are the Irish authorities too busy putting out fags to worry about large-scale file-sharing? I hope so! I hope so too. I spend so much money in record stores and on concert tickets that I really don't feel that guilty about it. Plus I think the smoking ban is kickass. It's so od...
