Not EC, Not Steve Martin because I've heard nothing but bad stories from people who meet him.

I'll go with Hugh Grant, because airports with the waiting etc, can mean you can really get to know your celebrity well.

Those mp3's are great. FavHour is a bit seeeeeerious, maaan, but Watching The Dets. is a riot. "SHOOT! SHOOT! SHOOT! SHOOT!" Good work that guy...

I have a few little illicit mp3's I took at gigs last year, I should host them somewhere. Here's Radiohead's No Surprises: Linkylink

This is true, aerlingus.com have dropped their prices, but as someone who has been going back and forth between Dublin and London I have to recommend British Midland/bmi (http://www.flybmi.com) cheaper than Aer Lingus on the Dublin Heathrow route and they give you a sandwich. Ryanair did charge me £...

In fairness, I don't know any airline who refunds ticket money. Last week I booked Ryanair flights to Stansted and on to Venice and back for two for under a hundred Euro. Seemed like a deal to me. Although I recently flew to Bristol with 'em and the pilots seemed to be enjoying the turbulence. You g...

Just to say, the festival was a blast. Got down at 3 on Saturday just in time to only see the Scissor Sisters do one song, which was a pity. Then the brill FranzF, for the Divine Comedy it rained really bad so we ran around not getting shelter. Went to se Snow Patrol who the crowd liked but I found ...

Bowie has emergency angioplasty...

http://abcnews.go.com/wire/Entertainmen ... _2989.html

...so the shoulder pain was probably a slightly atypical presentation of angina. Don't mind him cancelling. He now has to stop smoking, and avoid cocaine, in case he does an "entwistle"

Thanks. I've been listening to the new They Might Be Giants album this past week and there's a lyric on the track Memo To Human Resources which is lifted from not one, but two Monkees songs (yes, another Monkees question). What's the line, what are the songs? To make it "easy", here are th...

It happens if you use iTunes, I see it as a conciliatory gesture by Apple that makes it a little more difficult to steal music/take your friend collection.

But you can use xplay (see above link) instead.

You mean, is there some kind of program which bypasses iTunes where I can just drag and drop the music I want onto any iPod?

Why yes, there is!

Problem is that Sony are sticking to the ATRAC sound format which is (1) Very protected and limits what you can do with the file and (2) isn't compatible with any online music store. As with Sony's other players, the NW-HD1 plays songs in the company's proprietary ATRAC format only, meaning it is no...

I'm quite pissed off about that too. I'll be there both days and Saturday looks like a real treat: Strokes, Cure, Franz, Scissor Sisters, PJ Harvey, NERD with new kids the Killers and Razorlight.
