Not producer, no...

To stop this dragging on, let me rephrase: Which musician directed the videos for Frank Black's "Headache" and Edwyn Collins' "A Girl Like You"?

Billy Joel's "Songs In The Attic" apparently, recorded in 1980.

New question:
The connection between Frank Black's "Headache" and Edwyn Collins' "A Girl Like You"?

Clues later...

Hey, there's no 'I' in team, but there is 'me'...

What was the first live album to be recorded on digital equipment? (Clue: It's not MetalShop, in spite of what Google says)

Well, that'll learn me for ignoring the thread. I'll put my mp3 of Black Sails up somewhere, even though it has no cymbals.

I hope you're not talking about The Big Breakfast, which was great in its heydey (I'm a Johnny and Denise fan myself). Or maybe you're referring to a rerun of The Wall.

I like http://www.suprnova.org

And the Bowie stuff sounds cool.

I've mentioned this before, but I might put it into practice later in the year: A website that would host encoded versions of EC stuff not commercially available. I could actually host it now, because I am master of my own domain name, but have no real site attached to it.

I'm sure he means the 1982 show in the Albert Hall with the royal Philharmonic Orchestra which spawned the single version of I'm Your Toy.

Why didn't they release a bonus DVD of the South Bank Show documentary, just like I asked Rhino to do. Bastards!!!

€23.99 = Can wait.

The DVD should have three clips from North which I recall being a mimed "Still" and a live version of "You Turned To Me" and "North" played on that wonky ivy-covered piano. There was windows media stuff on the music disc, which would never work in my mac. I don't mean t...

I haven't bought tickets yet, but it's on my mind. I think I'm delaying buying any tickets for any London gigs until I actually move there and start work (in two weeks time, hahaha, oh dear). Plus I don't know what my rota is beyond the end of september. Other London gigs in the offing: Finn Brother...

Thanks BC, now I feel old: The Graceland tour was my first proper gig when I was 12. Paul was joined by Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Hugh Masekela and Miriam Makeba. Got Paul to sign my program (but I didn't meet him) and his car pulled up beside us in the traffic on the way home. As I posted elsewhere,...

I went to see Simon and Garfunkel last Saturday in a 30,000+ outdoor arena setting and I've never seen a quieter, more deferential crowd. Granted, the crowd was a little bit older than many gigs and everybody gently cooed along with the hits, but it was great. There was one bit where S&G were on...
