Yeah.
And the US pressing of that on Columbia records was one of the worst sounding pieces of vinyl that I have ever encountered.
I immediately forked out for a Japanese pressing of Get Happy.

Re: "Less Than Zero" single--organ mix????

The "Singles" box set has the same version as the MAIT full-length CD's. Yeah -- I just listened to it. You're correct. I got confused. The B-side, Radio Sweetheart , is the original mix -- which had changed starting with Taking Liberties/10 Bloody Marys . ( Can't remember if the original...

Re: Hip-O Armed Forces ?

Well, since these appear to be 30th anniversary editions, we should expect Armed Forces (originally 1979) some time this year. No reason to worry yet, I'd say. Yeah -- but it came out in mid-January, I believe. I thought that the 1st two Hip-O re-issues were ( more or less ) in the same month as th...

Seems that he didn't even join NIck on stage this weekend though, eh? Yeah -- that was strange. Costello walked along the pathway to backstage a few minutes before Nick's set started. And then didn't join him. I think I saw Nick look off-stage as he was beginning PL&U to get some kind of indica...

The credits at the end of each clip indicate that this was shot for DVD. Yeah. Costello is listed as Executive Producer -- and there's a credit to someone for "DVD design". It seems as if they're possibly going to sell these things to benefit the DeLone Project . ( Maybe at the shows this...

Last time that I looked, they had named an opening act (whom I didn't recognize) for the GAMH show.
Unfortunate -- as I thought that there was a pretty reasonable chance of EC opening.

Same venue, same benefit as the Clover/MAIT show last year.
