Re: The iTunes Genius "No Hiding Place" Experiment

Its uncanny how many of the same songs we all have. I must have 90% of the non EC songs and all the EC songs mentioned in my itunes library. We're all obviously people of exquisite taste

Re: Where have heard momofuku?

Mark Lamarr and Jo Brand played a track on Radio 2 yesterday morning. It's the first time i've heard it on the radio anywhere! They are both big Costello fans though.

Come on Leeds !!

I'm another disliker of PL&U i dont like the gutteral nature of the singing n i don't think the lyrics fit together as well as in his own songs, I think they are clumsy. In fact when he plays it in concert, that's when i go to the bog.

I wasn't being picky cos i'm not an audiophile type of guy! it was just an observation,as i was tryin to trim some of the duplicates off my ipod and noticed all the versions i chose were the ones from the king of americana boot. Maybe its a case of less is more to my ears!

I know its from what may well be the poorest album but Inch by Inch for me is a standout song, its a real clickalong song, its never likely to trouble a compilation cd though. The live version where it runs into Fever, it's a match made in heaven!

You can ge both BY & MLAR bonus issues for £5.99 at the moment on http://www.101cd.com , I agree with the comment about pots and pans percussion and muffled production but there are half a dozen cracking songs on there, my favourite is "All the rage" an absolute stone cold classic. I l...
